Siemens Gamesa Intern | Software Development and Testing : As a Software Development and Testing Intern, you will assist with programming activities, software validation, documentation and engineering development tasks.

The role requires a strong foundation in Python, MATLAB and LaTeX, along with an understanding of software development practices such as Git, CI/CD and Artifactory. Analytical thinking, communication and collaboration skills will also be important when working with the engineering team.

As part of the engineering team, your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in designing and programming functions using MATLAB and Python.
• Support automated reporting and controller validation workflows.
• Test and validate new and existing software tools for functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to debug and improve tool performance.
• Work on enhancements based on user feedback and project requirements.
• Assist with automated build, testing and CI/CD procedures.
• Support efficient and reliable software delivery processes.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and development notes.
• Support the creation of data analysis reports and technical presentations for engineering reviews.
• Assist in preparing controller certification documents.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, such as B.Tech, preferably in the 3rd or 4th year.
• Master’s candidates pursuing M.Tech in 1st year can also apply.
• Relevant disciplines include:
