Role Overview: Software Development Engineer (SDE I)

As an SDE I at Rupeek, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. This is a hands-on development role where you’ll write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable products that reach millions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features on time
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with frameworks like Node.js and Spring Boot
• Sound understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases and Git version control
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and accountable for end-to-end project delivery

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech / Dual Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 0–3 years of relevant professional experience
• Location: Bangalore
