About DVC:-

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), one of the premier power utilities came into existence on July 7, 1948, as the first multipurpose river valley project of independent India. DVC is a statutory body incorporated under the Damodar Valley Corporation Act (Act No. XIV of 1948). DVC is engaged in Thermal/Hydel Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution with its Headquarters located at Kolkata and various Plants/Stations of DVC situated across West Bengal and Jharkhand.

DVC GET Recruitment 2022 Details:

Details Eligibility Criteria:-

• Passing Out Batch:– Any Passout
• Degree Required:– BE/BTECH
• Branch Required:– Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation/Electronics &
  Communication /CS/IT
• Percentage Criteria:– 60% marks For (SC/ST) and 65% marks
  [General/OBC(NCL)/EWS]
• Age Limit:– Upper Age Limit 29 Years.

DVC Selection Process:-

The Selection Process is in three-step.

1. GATE score of 2022
2. Group Discussion (GD)
3. Personal Interview (PI).

• The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper
  of GATE 2022, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). No Written Exam.

• Weightage of Different Parameters: The final merit list will be prepared based on
  the following weightage:
  GATE 2022 Marks (out of 100) —>85%
  Group Discussion (GD) Marks (out of 50) —>3%
  Personal Interview (PI) Marks (out of 50) —->12%
  Total 100%

Application Fee:-

• Candidates belonging to General/OBC(NCL)/EWS categories are required to pay a
  Non-refundable Application Fee of Rs 300/-(Rupees Three Hundred Only)
  through Online mode only (SBI Collect). The bank charges as applicable have to be
  borne by the candidates.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM categories & DVC Departmental
  Candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
