Indian Space Research Organization/Department of Space Centers/Units are engaged in Research and Development activities in the development of Space Applications, Space Science and Technology for the benefit of society at large and for serving the nation by achieving self-reliance and developing the capacity to design and build Launch Vehicles and Communication/Remote Sensing Satellites and thereafter launch them.

Details Eligibility Criteria:-

• Passing Out Batch:– Any Passout Can Apply
• Degree Required:– BE/BTECH
• Branch Required:– CS/IT/Electronics & Communication/Mechanical
• Percentage Criteria:– No 65 % Criteria.
• Age Limit:– Maximum age – 28 years.
• GATE Score Required:– 2021 or 2022 Gate Score is Mandatory

Application Fee:-

The Application Fee is ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for each
application. Candidates may make the payment ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Debit Card or ‘offline’ by visiting the nearest SBI Branch.

All Women/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempted from payment of the Application Fee. However, after registering of application online, the candidates have to ensure receipt of system generated email regarding the successful submission of the application.

Selection Process: For Isro Scientist/Engineer

Selection will be in 2 Steps:-

Step 1:- Shortlisting on Gate Score(2021 or 2022).

Step 2:- Interview.

Details:-

The qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for an Interview. Shortlisting of the candidates for Interviews in the ratio of 1:7 shall be based on the GATE Scores awarded and not on GATE marks or GATE Rank. The candidates will be
assessed based on the following attributes, viz.

Technical (Academic) knowledge [40 marks],
General Awareness in relevance to the area of Specialisation (technical) [20 marks];
Presentation/Communication Skill [20 marks]; Comprehension [10 marks] and Academic
achievements [10 marks], totaling to 100 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum 60 marks in the Interview and PWBD candidates will have to score minimum 50 marks in the Interview.

For a generation of the final panel, 50% weightage will be given to GATE Scores and 50% weightage to Interview marks.
